Meet Maiken Jepsen
Maiken Jepsen has been a leader of several work-at-home-moms groups and just loves to get people talking! It was her idea to break the ice in our member community by giving people a chance to introduce themselves and share their goals and what they are working on now with us.
For example: Maiken’s goal is to motivate women, especially work-at-home moms, who want to start out on a project or in a business to move their ideas forward and perhaps don’t think they can really do it.
MAIKEN’S MINI-BIO
Maiken was born in Brazil and lived there for 5 years. Then she moved to Denmark and lived there for 8 years before moving to Pennsylvania where she lives now. She specializes in hand-painted boutique clothing for children. That’s what started the whole thing for her and now she works full-time from home. She got into internet marketing because she wanted to free up her time and create products that would help inspire and support other women wanting to start up something.
Being naturally outgoing and approachable, Maiken was getting questions from other work-at-home moms and others all the time and has since helped 50 or more other women start their own online businesses. She plans to continue doing that but would like to get paid for it now too.
MAIKEN’S DREAMS & GOALS
Her dream is to be a speaker at a seminar one day — she thinks that would be really awesome! (And I can tell you from experience Maiken, it really is awesome and I think you’ll enjoy that work very much.)
Maiken’s dad used to do big seminars that drew people in from around the world. The WOW factor has been with her ever since and she’s felt for awhile that she wanted to do that someday too.
And Maiken also has plans to write her first book! She went to “book school” and her instructor (who has written 5 books) suggested she write a book about how to be creative in your business since Maiken is so quickly and comfortably able to come up with ideas for people.
MAIKEN’S UPDATE
As for the latest news, Maiken was surprised to see her own name listed in the top 30 entrepreneurs to follow on Twitter at www.younggogetter.com (which is a cool blog by the way). Congratulations to you, Maiken!
